Various colors can be assigned to sounds, patterns, groups and scenes, so for example, you can assign a specific color to all of your kick drums, creating a more fluid interaction between player and instrument. The most notable upgrade on the MK2 models are the multi-colored backlit pads. They enable you to create digital music with an intuitive, hands-on workflow. Native Instruments has just announced new versions of the MASCHINE and MASCHINE MIKRO hardware and software based groove sequencing instruments.
